Construction industries in Singapore are highly regulated especially in relation to safety health and environment. It is therefore very essential that the key stakeholders including site supervisors (REs & RTOs) in the engineering building construction (ECB) industries are equipped and acquainted with up-to-date knowledge of the legal aspects of Workplace Safety, Health and Environment and are fully aware and conscious of their legal responsibilities and liabilities in order to carry out their work & duties diligently, carefully and effectively.This particular module will provide participants with an up-to-date essential knowledge of Singapore's laws and regulations on site safety, health & environmental requirements relevant to the EBC industries and the legal responsibilities and possible of site supervisors.

The objective of this seminar is to explain the background and provisions in the Professional Engineers (Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics) Rules. It will also explain the provisions and the procedure in the Professional Engineers Act on actions against Professional Engineers who contravened the Rules. This course may also be useful for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers going for Practice of Professional Engineering Examination conducted by Professional Engineers Board Singapore.

This course is design to assist engineer to prepare for Practical Professional Exam in Civil Engineering. The syllabus of the exam is very wide; many engineers do not know how to prepare for the exam. This course uses systemic approach to cover major topics. This course has three modules and it will be helpful for candidate to attend all three modules, however, candidates may also attend individual module to suit their work schedule. Work example will be discussed during the course with illustration on how regulatory requirement shall be applied.
