Managing Agents play an important role in managing a strata-titled development. With the increasing number of strata-titled developments in Singapore, it is essential for Managing Agents to keep abreast on the governing laws and related procedures on the management of strata-titled developments.

The challenge of building green lies in the process and in getting the project team to agree on targets and outcomes. Participants will learn about the holistic broad based notion of what green means and understand how to operationalise principles into practice or establish an operative framework for greening. They will also know how to define performance and outcomes, know when to intervene and why it matters and make decisions for collective deliberation and judgement.

Participants will gain in-depth knowledge on the inspection of the lift and escalator installation and maintenance works in accordance to the prevailing standards.

This technical course covers design principles, installation of equipment, testing and commissioning, operations and maintenance including periodic examination and inspection of lifts and escalators. This is a 5-day course which comprises both classroom lectures and practical sessions. Participants will gain in-depth technical knowledge on lifts and escalators, with particular emphasis on the examination, inspection and testing of such equipment.

The lecturer will also demonstrate how BIM and IoT could automate the integration of various building systems and enable smart operation and maintenance.

This includes planning and controlling multiple key elements of project management, including time, cost, material, organisation, quality, delivery and safety.
