Companies participating in this programme will gain recognition and benefit from having a comprehensive WSH system in place.To start the bizSAFE journey, an enterprises top management has to sign up for this bizSAFE Level 1.

This course is jointly organised by BCA Academy and the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) which accredits Qualified Site Supervisors such as Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO). This course is aimed at educating newly accredited site supervisors on Singapores legal framework for building construction and building control regulation requirements.

Besides facilitating a cleaner, quieter and environmental-friendly worksite, drywall construction is quicker with lesser labour requirement. The use of drywall internal partition is encouraged and recognized under CONQUAS 8th edition and forms part of the CONQUAS Enhancement Series on Good Industry Practices.This GIP course aims to highlight the benefits and good practices of drywall installation introduced in the GIP practice guide book on Drywall Internal Partition and extends the knowledge to other applications for wet areas and Prefabricated Bathroom Unit (PBU).

To enhance water-tightness performance of external walls, it is important to look at the use of suitable materials, adequate wall thickness, design of proper construction details and surface rendering and finishes.This course complements the Good Industry Practices Waterproofing for External Wall and highlight the good practices introduced in the guidebook.

The course will equip the participants with the knowledge of causes and mitigations of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) issues, conduct of an IAQ investigation and procedures to execute appropriate remediation measures. This course will cover IAQ management for non-residential buildings where air conditioning is commonly used. It will emphasis on the air quality control in air conditioning & mechanical ventilation system for tropical climate. The participants will also be introduced to the SS 554 standards in indoor air quality for air conditioned buildings.
